The PTA would like to remind everyone that we will be having a
“Breakfast with Santa”
singers
on December 12, 2009 @ 9:00 a.m.  The cost of the breakfast is $2.50 each person.  This price will include two pancakes, sausage, fruit, coffee or hot chocolate and juice.  There will also be pictures with Santa and many other fun activities.  We hope to see you there.  If you have any questions you can email me at donna.rollins@vbschools.com.  All breakfast tickets will be sold in advance.  No tickets will be sold at the door for the breakfast.

ILES Thunderbirds are generous!

Thunderbird Spirit Wear is being sponsored by the SCA.  We are excited about the color options and design this year.  See the order form on the school website to view all of your choices. Shirt styles include: short sleeve t-shirts in royal blue or yellow, long sleeve t-shirts in royal blue, and crewneck sweatshirts in royal blue or gray. 

Once you have made your decision, please fill out the order form available on the school website and send it in with your payment.  Cash or check will be accepted.  When writing a check, please make it payable to Indian Lakes SCA and include a driver’s license number.  All orders are due to Mrs. Dajero or Mrs. Robertson by November 23, 2009 and will be received by the Winter Holiday break.  Thank you for supporting the SCA!!

The PTA will present the 4th and 5th graders along with our 5th grade Chorus in a musical presentation with the Theme, “Holidays Around the World” on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 6:30 p.m.  Parents , please notify the music teacher by Monday, November 9th , if your child will be unable to participate.  The Strings students will perform also.  All are welcome to attend.

Parents, students and staff- Yearbooks will be going on sale soon.  Look for the notices for advance purchase.  WHAT A GREAT STOCKING STUFFER IDEA!
The last two years we have RUN OUT OF YEARBOOKS and had many very sad students that were not able to purchase this great memory keeper. All yearbooks must be pre-ordered so please do not be the family that misses out.
Yearbooks will be $20.00 and they are full color and hardback.

Help Support Indian Lakes Elementary
By Saving Your Farm Fresh Receipts!

Here's How It Works:

1. Save your Farm Fresh register receipts with a starting date of September 2, 2009 
2. Turn these receipts in to Indian Lakes Elementary as you accumulate them.
3. Indian Lakes can earn FREE Audio-Visual Equipment, Books, Computers, and Sports Equipment.

Please note that Program Headquarters will accept either full register receipts including the 123-4, the Community verification stub, or the verification stub only. Please do not submit full register tapes without the verification stub.

Don’t Forget: September is DOUBLE POINTS month.

In 2008-2009, Indian Lakes Elementary was able to collect over $43,000 in receipts totals. This amount allowed us to receive many new books for our school library. Let’s make this year even bigger and better. Thank you for your support!
