If you are interested in having your fifth grader participate in the club, please fill out the following Google form completely. The contact information you provide on the form will be used to contact members selected by lottery. If we cannot reach you we will draw another name. Members will be given permission slips which must be completed and given to Mrs. Harrison, our computer resource specialist as soon as possible. Good luck!
FROM THE CLINIC
Happy New Year and welcome back! It's that wonderful time of year again - cold and flu season. Parents, remember these important tips:
Washing hands is the MOST effective way to protect against germs and viruses! Please encourage your children to wash their hands frequently whenever possible, especially before eating. If a sink is not available, hand sanitizer is the next best thing.
If your children have not yet received their flu vaccine, please consider getting it as soon as possible!
If your child is sent to the clinic with flu-like symptoms, you WILL be contacted to pick them up as soon as possible! Please ensure that all phone numbers/emergency contact numbers are up-to-date, so that someone can be reached as soon as possible.
If your child has symptoms such as fever, chills, headache, fatigue, cough, sore throat, nausea/vomiting, or diarrhea, they need to stay home AT LEAST 24 HOURS AFTER symptoms are no longer present. Although they may be feeling better, they may still be contagious to classmates, teachers, and other staff members!
Please do your best to follow these guidelines and help keep everyone HEALTHY and HAPPY over the next few months. Thank you!
