BOOK FAIR LOGO

The Scholastic Book Fair has been extended due to the inclement weather.  The Fair will now be open through Wednesday, March 4th.  Students may bring in money to purchase their books all day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  Parents are also welcome to sign in at the visitor's desk and browse the books as well if they wish during the day.  We have rescheduled our exciting Family Events as well.

Sundaes with Someone Grand Event (if you returned your RSVP slip last week) will be Tuesday, March 3rd. Ice cream will be served from 3:45 - 4:30 and the book fair will actually stay open until 8pm that evening. Any families that would like to visit the book fair after picking their child up from the various Tuesday after school programs are welcome as well.

Family Night #1 - Tuesday, March 3rd from 4:30 - 8:00

Wednesday will be the absolute last day to purchase items from the in-house book fair, and we certainly hope you will be able to join us in supporting the library.  All the proceeds from the fair (in-house and online) go purchase new books and book supplies for the students. We hope you have been able to share the magic of books through these two weeks of winter weather.  The library will reopen for check-in and check-out on Thursday midday.

Hook 'Em into a Good Book! We invite you Under the Sea to find exciting and affordable books for all ages. Students will previewed books on Monday and Tuesday and buying will was to begin Wednesday during school, but we had snow days. We have 3 events rescheduled after-hours for your convenience. Our Sundaes with Someone Grand will be Tuesday, March 3 from 3:45 p.m.-5:00 p.m., reservations already sent it will be honored. FROM THE CLINIC

Happy New Year and welcome back! It's that wonderful time of year again - cold and flu season. Parents, remember these important tips:

Washing hands is the MOST effective way to protect against germs and viruses! Please encourage your children to wash their hands frequently whenever possible, especially before eating. If a sink is not available, hand sanitizer is the next best thing.

If your children have not yet received their flu vaccine, please consider getting it as soon as possible!

If your child is sent to the clinic with flu-like symptoms, you WILL be contacted to pick them up as soon as possible! Please ensure that all phone numbers/emergency contact numbers are up-to-date, so that someone can be reached as soon as possible.

If your child has symptoms such as fever, chills, headache, fatigue, cough, sore throat, nausea/vomiting, or diarrhea, they need to stay home AT LEAST 24 HOURS AFTER symptoms are no longer present. Although they may be feeling better, they may still be contagious to classmates, teachers, and other staff members!

Please do your best to follow these guidelines and help keep everyone HEALTHY and HAPPY over the next few months. Thank you!
